eScrip...the easiest way to raise funds
The OHS Band Boosters schedule a multitude of fund raising activities to assist families with off setting band expenses and to contribute to the band funds in general. The general band funds are used to pay for buses (that transport our students to competitions), registration fees for competitions, purchasing music, instruments, equipment, uniforms and supplies used for the program. In addition, funds are used to send students to Leadership Camp and Drum Major Camp. Funds are also used to purchase awards, trophies and letters for letterman jackets to recognize the much deserved accomplishments of each student. These are all critical activities that contribute to the overall quality of this program; but unfortunately, all of these things require money; therefore, fund raising is a cornerstone activity for the OHS Band Boosters. Fund raising include activities such as car washes and march-a-thons. Of all the fund raising activities available to students and their families that is simple and painless is eScrip!
eScrip does not require you do ANYTHING special. You just need to sign up! Once you sign up, the expenses you normally incur from shopping at everyday normal retailers; from grocery shopping to on-line shopping contribute to your eScrip account!
The OHS Marching Band and Auxiliary have had families pay off almost 100% of their associated band expenses through eScrip!
